With airline schedules, international events, natural disasters, and unforeseen circumstances, I find it a blessing when air travel goes without a hitch–it’s been several years since I’ve had hassle-free travel. When we flew across the country last winter, it took us an extra half day to get home.
Now that some airlines charge for carry-on baggage, extra bags, water, snacks, and the cabin air, it’s nice to know there are economic options to help you enjoy a worry-free and fun vacation or holiday. I’m just kidding about the cabin air, but I wouldn’t hold it past them in the near future!
Have you seen the new Travelling with Baby Guide created by the United Kingdom’s Holiday Extras? It’s chock-full of great resources for parents on the go with little ones in tow heading on holiday throughout the UK such as the best types of holidays or vacations with babies (here’s a hint: it’s not the beach), and how to prevent in-flight ear pain in babies and small children. One of the smartest resources for parents traveling with a baby is the airport parking guide indicating a variety of options including airport valet service for those times when you really do need eight hands to juggle all the baby gear.
