Going down late for a nap on a Sunday afternoon means one of two things will take place:
1) The boy will very quietly and calmly drift off to sleep in his bed
OR
2) He will fight sleep to the very end and crash out in a random position usually centered around play time.
Guess which one happened?
When I first peered in his room (since it was time to get our family out the door for a Bible study), I didn’t see Calvin in his bed.
I was momentarily confused (commonplace occurrence since I became a mom).
Then, I looked to see if he was in the closet playing.
Nope.
He was in his red ladybug tent, fast sleep next to not one, but two open books: Winnie the Pooh and the Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs.
Next time, I’ll post with play time photos…enough with the posts on cute sleepy poses!
