I’ve shared a lot of bath time fun with my family. When Lucien was a newborn, we bathed together. When he was old enough to sit up we purchased a washpod – which he loved to sit and splash in. Many a video were sent to the grandparents and he was dubbed the “bucket boy”. Now, he has the whole thing to himself – a bathtub that, for his size, looks like a mini swimming pool.

I love bathtime. I hate getting babies out of the bath. First, they never seem ready. Second, it is a wet process. And while I love letting him splash and play, some days I wish I could stay dry during the process. The towel we have for him wasn’t big enough and getting him out of the bathtub.
Then, Bamboobino sent me a super soft and absorbent hooded towel, which was welcome, since Lucien had outgrown the one we originally got for him. Most of the hooded towels I’ve seen for babies are not large enough for more than a 6 month old. Now that Lucien is 9 months old, the previous towel was not pulling its weight. Not so this towel. I wish I could wrap myself up in it – which I almost can given its size and since it has an apron front so that it’s easy to remove baby from the bath safely and keep the towel in place.
Bamboobino is a Vancouver-based company owned by Sharon Chai who created this bed and bath clothing and accessory line from soft, eco-friendly bamboo fabric. Love the photos, esp. the one with the ducky and the baby bum! What a sweet little man!
The towel looks great and the photos are gorgeous! My wee boy loves bath time too, he splashes about like mad and I always feel bad taking him out!
