About

Hi and welcome to Traveling with Baby! I’m Dr. Dolly, Chiropractic Physician by day, and mom to almost four-year-old son, Calvin. I spend my days running a health care practice and editing a couple of blogs focused on parenting and health. Previously, I served our nation as an officer in the world’s best Air Force, and I’m proud to have earned the status of a military veteran of the Iraq war.

I’m married to Steve, a wonderful husband of over 10 years, and together we enjoy every lovely day raising our adventurous son. Besides managing a home and nurturing my family, my two jobs of directing of a health care practice and editing blogs keep me busy all-the-time. Yet, I love every moment of it–it’s energizing and fulfilling.

Dr. Dolly reviews a wide variety of products that are of interest to moms of small children, parents who home school and do crafts and activities with children, or travel with little ones in tow.

Dr. Dolly is an experienced international speaker who regularly engages new parents at workshops and seminars. Previous speaking experience includes a broad spectrum from polished military briefings to engaging academic lectures at chiropractic colleges, plus fun and educational workshops for parents in the central Virginia area on health-related topics full of product promotion. She recently taught rehabilitation doctors on Scoliosis at a Spinal conference in Shanghai, China. In October 2011, she’s teaching a workshop to chiropractic physicians and chiropractic assistants on “Harnessing Blogging and Social Media to Grow Your Healthcare Practice” at the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association fall convention.
